In a powerful display of community solidarity, the Immigrant Defense Network has gathered more than 100 organizations to support vulnerable families and defend human rights, according to Good Good Good. In January 2026 alone, the network trained an average of 2,000 volunteers a week to be constitutional observers — community members who observe and document federal law enforcement activity.

The network provides legal resources, community support, and rapid response capabilities to immigrant communities across the United States. Constitutional observers receive training in their rights and responsibilities, learning how to peacefully document interactions and ensure that legal protections are being upheld.

In January 2026 alone, the network trained an average of 2,000 volunteers a week to be constitutional observers — community members who observe and document federal law enforcement activity.

The rapid growth of the network reflects a grassroots movement of ordinary citizens stepping up to protect their neighbors and ensure that constitutional rights are respected for everyone, regardless of immigration status.
