Woman Discovers Childhood Pen Pal Became Doctor Who Delivered Her 2 Kids
When Megan Lewis was a 2nd grader, she wrote letters to a pen pal named Suzanne. Three decades passed, and Lewis had two children delivered by her trusted OB/GYN, Dr. Suzanne Pugh. Last Thanksgiving, Lewis's mom gave her a box of old mementos including those childhood letters.
Looking up the name, Lewis realized her doctor WAS her pen pal. "My mouth dropped. I could not believe that my pen pal was Dr. Pugh, who delivered my kids," she told ABC News. "It's such a crazy small world."
